7 DEADLY TEXAS BARTENDERS PRESENT 7 DEADLY COCKTAILS

It’s that time of year again for our cocktail enthusiasts and bartenders to create some of the most lucrative Halloween themed drinks for your own bar and party giver’s amusement.

Initially, we had this project planned to go live at the beginning of October but Hurricane Harvey spoiled our plans. Some of these girls were displaced or lost everything they owned but we were fortunate enough to come together and make these tasty treats for you! Some may not have come out the way we planned due to what little resources and material we had after all the chaos, and we walked away with bruises and burn marks. This project took a lot of time and effort, so I hope you can forgive the hiccups. Enjoy.

LUST

LOVE POTION NO. 9

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 ½ oz Pearl’s Strawberry Basil Vodka
• ½ Peach Schnapps
• 2 oz Lemonade made fresh
• Muddled Strawberry’s and lemon

INSPIRATION: Jess Franco and Jean Rollin with a pinch of psychedelic pulp ripped out of the 1960s and the 1970s.

• 2 oz SKYY DRAGON FRUIT
• ½ oz Figue Liquere
• 1 oz Pomegranate Juice
• ½ oz Lime Juice
• Top with 151
• A lighter

INSPIRATION: Redwall and Game of Thrones with a Twin Peakish vibe.

• 1 ½ oz ABSINTHE
• ½ oz AMARETTO
• ½ oz SIMPLE SYRUP
• 1 ½ WATER
• SUGAR CUBE
• 151
• A LIGHTER

(Note: This is a tricky drink. It all depends on the cup size. Use water to taste.)

INSPIRATION: The Green Fairy meets Eve. Fun story, she was nearly set on fire. But Herzberg did sustain burns on her hand after catching fire while trying to blow out the flame. They had to resort to using a stand in flame to make up for issues on the set.

• 3 oz Woody’s Honey Bourbon Cream
• 1 ½ oz Brandy
• Strawberry Puree to taste

INSPIRATION: A little Carrie, Hello Mary Lou, and Nicolas Winding Refn. The prom dress worn by Kate was her own mother’s, and her mother put her through pageants…so this was a fitting choice.

• 1 freshly squeezed lime

INSPIRATION: Catherine Deneuve and Lady GaGa meet Wall Street. Originally, we planned on her being surrounded by gold in this shot. But due to complications, we had to throw that idea out the window.
