ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

On this episode, EIC of Morbidly Beautiful Stephanie Malone comes on as guest interviewer to do something that fans and listeners have been asking for for a long time: an in-depth interview with “The Dedman” Michael Christopher Jones (your beloved host and writer for the site)!  We will be discussing everything, including: how I first started to love the genre, how I became a writer for several websites and magazines, my evolution into becoming an FX artist, my transition from Horror Society to Morbidly Beautiful, and why I decided to bring The Calling Hours Horror Podcast back at the site.

In addition to her own questions about my career and my love of the genre, Stephanie asks me a series of questions submitted from Morbidly Beautiful readers and fans of this podcast. We also talk journalistic integrity, my favorite interviews, the origin of The Dedman, and much more.

In addition to our featured interview, tune in for our Digital Dismemberment Spotlight where I will be reviewing Scream Factory’s Blu-Ray Release of the Collector’s Edition of Trick R’ Treat. Then in our lighthearted review segment, The Traumatic Tales of Dedman and Grumpy, we will be reviewing the horror comedy classic Zombeavers.

Finally, in our Metal Massacre Spotlights this evening, we will be featuring three bands from out latest sponsor Imperative PR! Those bands will include Kraanium, Prion and Wurm Flesh.

Tune in to Morbidly Beautiful every Tuesday at 8 pm EST for new episodes of The Calling Hours Podcast. You can also listen to the syndicated rebroadcast on MileHiRadio every Friday night at 10 pm EST/7 pm PST. The Calling Hours is also available on most major podcast platforms, including iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, Tune In Radio, and on Pippa.
