Issue 13 of Coffin Cuties Magazine is now available, featuring an exclusive front cover and full interview with the Soska Sisters, plus much more!

Editor’s Note: Our incredible writer and host of The Calling Hours Podcast sits down with two of my favorite women in horror, the enormously talented and groundbreaking filmmaking duo, the Soska Sisters. These ladies have made quite a name for themselves as icons, innovators, and influencers in indie horror. They are also outspoken advocates for equality and spokeswomen for Women in Horror Month. The Dedman talks to Jen and Sylvia Soska about their impressive contribution to the genre, their great working relationship, what inspires their creativity and passion, and their upcoming remake/re-imagining of David Cronenberg’s cult body horror hit Rabid. It’s an incredibly insightful and compelling read, in an issue packed with so much great content.

Coffin Cuties Soska Sisters

Once again, Morbidly Beautiful’s Dedman returns to the pages of Coffin Cuties Magazine as I talk with the Twisted Twins themselves, Jen and Sylvia Soska! With these two having so much going on for them in the industry, it was really amazing for them to take a break from their busy schedules to talk to me about everything they have done so far and even giving me a little info about their upcoming re-imagining of David Cronenberg’s RABID! As always, I also have my Blu-Ray/DVD review column as well.

It’s always fun to write for magazines as a horror journalist, but there is something particularly rewarding about writing for Coffin Cuties. Maybe it’s the incredibly talented people I get to speak with on their behalf. Or maybe it’s the fact that they are not afraid to go all out on their coverage, covering all aspects of the genre with true passion and creativity. This is certainly an issue you do not want to miss!

Publisher Mike Hearse is to be praised for his vision, and I all hope you look forward to reading the issue! Without further ado, let’s double our pleasure AND our fun…

WHAT’S INSIDE:

Coffin Cuties #13 is here to hold your hand — and your glands — with yet another horrifically hot and gorgeously glossy issue of ghouls, gals and goodies.

Our cover girls, the Twisted Twins, share the details of their career as The Dedman asks them about everything from DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK up to their latest trip through the genre, their take on David Cronenberg’s classic RABID! A worthwhile read as The Dedman leaves no organ unturned while performing his autopsy of the Soskas.

Besides the Soska Sisters, our other glamour ghouls include Tristan Risk (aka “Little Miss Risk”), Skye Medusa, Anastasia Sin and Sherri Coffinshaker, Orrible Olivia, Allie Jean, Paige LeNey and Delawna McKinney, Jennifer Coffin, Stacey Worwick, Jennifer West, Connita Starr.

Our featured guy-goyles include Special Effects Makeup artist Mike Fields, The Brazilian art of Doug Firmino. Eric “Unkle” Pigors, who joins us in the catacombs to talk at depth about Art, Rock N’ Roll and his very successful Toxic Toons merchandise.”
