This Friday, April 20th, two new posters for Crepitus, the upcoming horror film about a terrifying killer clown, will be featured in Times Square.
Move over Jason…Crepitus is about to take Manhattan!
I’m not sure it would be possible for us to be more excited about the upcoming new horror film from Haynze Whitmore (penned by Eddie and Sarah Renner) about an ancient creature who feeds on children to remain immortal. The creature, known as Crepitus, dresses as a clown to lure in his victims. Currently in post-production, Crepitus stars horror icon Bill Moseley as the cannibalistic clown who looks to put Pennywise to shame.
On Friday, April 20th, two brand new Crepitus posters will be displayed at two locations in Times Square, New York.
They will start playing at dusk, between 8-9pm. One will play at Crossroads at the Junction of 42nd Street and 7th Avenue (Facing EAST) and the second at TriplePlay at the Junction of 49th Street and 7th Avenue. They will play several times over the course of two hours.

The highly anticipated film will mark Haynze Whitmore’s feature film directorial debut. It was shot entirely in Cheyboygan. In addition to Bill Moseley (who recently wrapped Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell) in the title role, the film will star Chalet Brannan (Cyborg X, Star Trek: Captain Pike and The Sparrows) as Sam, Eve Mauro (Cyborg X, Dexter and CSI Miami) as Brandi (mom), Caitlin Williams as Eli in her feature film debut, and a Cheboygan native, Executive Producer Lance Paul, (Dark Roads 79, Crazy Sex, 90210 and Buried Cain) as Sheriff Jed.
Seventeen year old Elizabeth and her younger sister Sam are thrust into circumstances more terrifying than life with their abusive, drunken mother when they are forced to move into their deceased Grandfather’s house. Frightened beyond belief, they are forced to learn horrible things about their family history. Never mind the ghosts in the house, there is something far worse that takes an interest in them … a cannibalistic clown named Crepitus.
While no official release date has been announced yet, the film is currently in post-production with an announcement expected to soon about when fans can expect to see this terrifying vision brought to life.
