Death House

Star-studded indie horror film Death House is coming…and early word is that die hard horror fans will not be disappointed

As previously announced, hundreds of lucky attendees at this weekend’s Scare a Con are going to be among the very first to see one of the most highly anticipated horror films of the year, Death House.

One lucky horror-obsessed fan and filmmaker, Brad Bruce, had the chance to screen the film just before tomorrow night’s big debut. Our friend, Director/Co-Writer B. Harrison Smith, wanted an unbiased opinion on the film from someone in the movie’s target demographic — someone who knows and loves horror but isn’t a professional film critic.

After watching the film, he did a short video sharing his overall impression of the film from a fan’s point of view. If this first review is any indication of what horror fans can expect from Death House, we’re all in for an unforgettable treat.

“I think it’s exactly what the horror genre needs right now — a wakeup call that it’s time to stop being so cookie cutter and regurgitating the same thing over and over again. It’s ok to make something fresh and original and fun and entertaining, where everyone can just get involved and have a great time. And that’s exactly what I did with this movie. I think everyone is just absolutely gonna love it.”

Official Synopsis:

During an exclusive tour, a power breakdown inside a secret prison known as the Death House sends two agents fighting through a labyrinth of horrors while being pursued by a ruthless army of roaming inmates. As they fight to escape, the agents push toward the lowest depths of the facility where they learn a supernatural group of evil beings are their only chance for survival.

For those of you able to catch Death House this weekend, be sure to tell us what you thought in your comments below. For everyone else, stay tuned as more details are headed your way soon regarding when, where and how you can see this highly anticipated film for yourself.
