ABOUT THIS EPISODE:
This week, grab a stick and lose thy undergarments. We’re gonna live deliciously and go flying with Chaos and Carnage in The Witch!
“It’s the 1630s in New England…and things go awry.” – Carnage’s 5 second summaries.
If you haven’t yet, go check out The Witch on Netflix. And then dive in with Chaos and Carnage as they break this remarkable indie flick down and weigh in on whether or not it lives up to the hype. Does The Witch deliver on scares? Chaos and Carnage are full of opinions, as always!
It’s 1630s New England and a poor family is cast out of their community and forced to live out by the woods for their differing religious views. The family is having a hard enough time adapting to lives as farmers and the brunt of their problems seems to always revolve around the preteen daughter, Thomasin. It’s a hard life of scraping to survive. And then it seems as if the world around them has turned against them… or is there something supernatural at play?
Of course, it’s in the title. There’s a witch!
Check out the trailer for the film below. And tune in next week for the Chaos pick, Burnt Offerings.
