The amount of Goddamn three-time guests this podcast has is a pretty short list… but the mastermind behind the Clay Zombies universe Jake Jolley is on it! We welcome Jake back for his third visit to discuss the latest Clay Zombies outing: A Clay Zombies Christmas. We catch up with Jake, the latest with the Clayzombieverse, and, of course, all things horror. Tune in if you know what’s good for you!
…
Filmmaker Jake Jolley first fell in love with horror as a young child after watching George A. Romero’s 1978 classic Dawn of the Dead. From that point on, he became obsessed with zombies. This, combined with a lifelong passion for making movies, which was planted at the age of seven when his dad gave him a VHS camera, put him on a path to making his 2016 cult classic short and festival darling Claymation Zombies. From there, Jolley expanded his Clay Zombies universe with a web series and began work in 2019 on the feature-length adaptation.
Although COVID-19 initially put a stop to those plans, Clay Zombies finally came to fruition — better than originally planned — in 2021.
Now Jake Jolley and his beloved clay zombies are back with a holiday horror gift: A Clay Zombies Christmas. And you can watch this Christmas special for free now on YouTube.
