They may look cute and cuddly, but “Orca” aimed to show the darker side of killer whales while taking a bite out of the “Jaws” juggernaut.

In honor of the Orcas harassing yachts in the Strait of Gibraltar, we’re bringing you the story of a killer porpoise out for REVENGE!

Young Dumbledore is a sea fairin’ man off the coast of Nova Scotia, kidnapping sea life for aquariums to pay off his boat so he can get back to Hogwarts. That is, until the day he has the brilliant idea to capture an adult male Orca and things go awry. He kills the male’s mate, who miscarries their baby Orca, all in sight of the male, who screams in impotent rage and vows revenge.

Well, the only logical thing to do is go back out to sea for a man-of-honor duel to the death with a 30ft porpoise.

Directed by Michael Anderson, this 1977 thriller suffered from the inevitable comparison to Jaws, the mega horror hit released just two years prior.

Inspired by a desire to try to one-up the Great White success of Jaws, Orca failed to make a splash and almost killed Richard Harris multiple times in the process. But is it worth a revisit? Let’s discuss it!

Hosts Chaos and Carnage are two best friends who love to talk about horror movies. They take turns picking a movie each week to terrorize their cohost with. And once the mics are on, the bickering and bantering begin. Best friends for 20 years, their bickering is aged like a fine wine. Or cheese. New episodes drop every Monday.

Spoilers and expletives abound.
