This passionate episode is a love letter to indie horror and a defense of beleaguered films, including “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.”
Graham is NOT HAPPY! At the ENTIRE horror community! The overwhelmingly negative reviews of Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey are in his sights… and his finger is getting itchy! He’s not afraid to call it… and you… TF OUT! So be prepared for this stern talking to.
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey is a 2023 British independent slasher film edited, produced, written, and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield. It serves as a horror reimagining of A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard’s Winnie-the-Pooh books. It follows Pooh and Piglet, who have become feral and bloodthirsty murderers, as they terrorize a group of young university women and Christopher Robin when he returns to the Hundred Acre Wood many years later after leaving for college.
The film received largely negative reviews, but the guys have something to say about that — and about the tendency of the community to hate indie horror films like it’s a sporting event.
And Ryan now refers to himself as SKAmedian. What the hell is going on in this episode? Tune in to find out!

On this episode, the goddamn guys sit down with Australian filmmaker Alice Maio Mackay to chat about her newest film, The Serpents Skin!
For anyone that doesn't know Alice's work, you must be sleeping six feet under. She's got 7 feature films under her belt and she's only 21 years old. The Serpents Skin, like many of her other films, tackles a subject from a queer perspective and flips a traditional narrative on its head. This is a story of love, lust, tattooing and just a little dash of possession. One of the most unique and visionary directors to come out in the last decade, Alice isn't stopping any time soon and she is telling stories her way, without compromise, and she is the exact type of artist we love to showcase and tell you about.
Strap in for an episode exploring her career, her favorite collaborators and a fair share of ass kissing from our end.
