There’s no escape from this week’s episode, where we test our luck and revisit the familiar but fun 2019 horror hit “Escape Room”.

Escape Room

A group of randos from different walks of life all receive mysterious invitations to try a brand new elite escape room with a prize of $10,000 going to the first one to complete it. Little do they know it’s really the plot of Hostel, where Richey-riches watch them fight for their lives through deadly traps and puzzles with no intention of giving the winner a thing.

Escape Room is a 2019 American psychological horror film directed by Adam Robitel and written by Bragi F. Schut and Maria Melnik.

In the film, six unlucky victims are sent to navigate a series of deadly escape rooms: Zoey, a physics student; Jason, a wealthy daytrader; Ben, a stockboy; Mike, a truck driver; Amanda, an Iraq War veteran; and Danny, an escape room enthusiast. They seem about as different from each other as possible, but something connects them beyond their involvement in a sinister game of life and death.

Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film was a hit thanks to its fun premise, great cast, and intense atmosphere. But does it escape criticism from Chaos and Carnage? Tune in to find out!

Hosts Chaos and Carnage are two best friends who love to talk about horror movies. They take turns picking a movie each week to terrorize their cohost with. And once the mics are on, the bickering and bantering begin. Best friends for 20 years, their bickering is aged like a fine wine. Or cheese. New episodes drop every Monday.

Spoilers and expletives abound.
