Take a ride with us as we discuss the best killer cars of horror in this week’s episode of the Donna Tha Dead podcast.
SHOW NOTES FROM YOUR HOST DONNA:
In this episode, I’m talking about some of my favorite trucks and cars in horror films.
We recently had to get a newer car, and the whole ordeal was horrific. So, of course, that made my horror brain go to the homicidal vehicles in horror films. Get ready for terrifying trucks and possessed automobiles. Plus, I spilled the beans on my very first ride that thankfully did not have a mind of its own and wasn’t sentient; at least, I think it wasn’t.
Oh, and forgive my faux pas on the year Christine was released. It was 1983, not 1984.

The Company of Wolves (1984)
On this episode, finishing out the Anthology April films with The Company of Wolves (1984). This British gothic fantasy horror film is filled with a dream that has tales within tales and whether you count it as a horror anthology or not, I do and I’m sticking to my guns and wolfsbane. Shortish and spoiler free. So stay on the path, never eat a windfall apple, never trust a man whose eyebrows meet and you just might be okay. The artist on my podcast playlist is Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs. Game Over! tee in profile pic by DethInk Tees. https://dethink.bigcartel.com/product/game-over-man-game-over

Guilty Pleasures
Guilty Pleasures
She’s a lover, he’s a fighter. Together, they’re CHEER AND LOATHING. Tune in to hear your hosts, Stephanie (Cheer) and Casey (Loathing), clash over the films they love — and the ones they love to hate.
Welcome to Guilty Pleasures, the show where we give in to pleasure, rising from our coffins to discuss a modern horror film and debating just how guilty we need to feel about loving or hating it.
It was Steph’s pick this month, and she was once again desperate for any excuse to talk about the (according to her) greatest actor of our generation and possibly of any generation, Nicolas Cage.
We asked our adoring fans to choose between 2021’S PRISONERS OF THE GHOSTLAND and 2023’S RENFIELD.
In an absolute bloodbath of an online vote, RENFIELD eviscerated the competition to earn its time in the light of this podcast.
So welcome us into your ears as we find out if RENFIELD glamours us with its charms or sucks the life out of us.
