Legend has it, if you venture deep in the woods, you can still hear Chaos and Carnage serving up snark while dissecting “Hatchet”.

It’s not a remake. It’s not a sequel. And it’s not based on this podcast.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

Tonight, we are going South, the Deep South. Or is it more the mid-South? We are not quite clear on that. It’s in the South, a very important place in the South. Just kidding, we are in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. One place you will never find Chaos and Carnage due to their fear of crowds and people and celebrating things. Plus, they are too old to show their boobs for beads.

If you are a new listener to the PaNcast, be aware there are spoilers and expletives ahead! We break down the movie, go through a summary, offer analysis, trivia, arbitrary awards, reviews, ratings, fanfiction, and more!

“Man gets tired of boobies and beer at Mardi Gras. Seeks hauntingly good time in swamp and things go awry.” – Carnage’s Five Second Summary.

Double play Adam Green gives us Jason in the bayou. Except his name is Victor Crowley, and he is haunting the swamps of New Orleans.

Crowley is taking out his anger on the unfortunate guests on a haunted swamp boat tour, and ya know, all those poor alligator hunters in just a rowboat.

One by one, they face Victor Crowley, although only truly one of them faces a hatchet. And small details folks, but a hatchet has one sharp edge, not two. Let’s get our facts straight here. Beyond that minor point, horrible death and gore ahoy!

Chaos and Carnage are here for it.

Check out Hatchet to keep from getting spoiled like poor Victor Crowley by his father and then check out this week’s podcast with Chaos and Carnage.

Hatchet is streaming for free on Shudder.
