2022 was a great year for the horror, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t disappointments in the mix; we’ve got a list of the worst.
ABOUT THE EPISODE:
Even as viewing habits have changed, a great movie poster will always stand out. The latest poster for Scream VI is creative and fun while also looking like minimal effort was put into it. We also talk about any hidden meanings in the poster. This past week also saw the death of exploitation legend Ruggero Deodato. Best known for the infamous Cannibal Holocaust, he made a mark on genre cinema that will last forever.
Before we discuss our least favorite movies of the year, here is a bit of a disclaimer.
We love indie cinema and think people should make an effort to watch more. It is easier now than ever before to take a chance on a filmmaker you have never heard of. That being said, even when people put their best foot forward, it does not mean they will always avoid stepping in crap.
Our least favorite films of the year are from around the world. Horror, science fiction, and even a documentary made the list. We talk about awful protagonists and movies that can ruin an entire weekend. There are movies that are visually impressive and stories that are tone-deaf. We even talk about a pair of horror icons.
So what tops our “Worst of 22” list? Tune in to find out!
