Writers deserve love, so we celebrate some of the best fictional writers in horror films as well as some killer real-life indie authors.

In this episode, since the writers’ (along with the actors’) strike is ongoing, I wanted to make a short list of the writers in horror films that I love. Whether in captivity, dealing with ghosts, doing some murder mystery sleuthing, dodging a serial killer, or possibly bringing on the world’s end, their words have power!
Also, I give a little love to some real-life writers I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with on social media, including Judith Sonnet, Ryan W. Kinney, A. W. Mason, Natalie Hannah, Nadine Stewart, and Don Roff.
