If it gets our heart racing and releases those sweet, sweet endorphins, we’re there! So, naturally, we were pretty pumped to hear about an exciting new horror game heading our way this month. Project Nightmares from Feardemic is coming to Xbox and PlayStation 4 & 5 on April 27th.
What is Project Nightmares (or rather, Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward)? We’re glad you asked! It’s a spine-chilling survival horror game with procedurally generated elements. Developed by NC Studio, the game throws you into a living nightmare where you’ll have to explore the dark past of a mysterious old woman named Henrietta Kedward.
You’ll play as a patient working with the Project Nightmares team, a group of scientists who have dedicated themselves to studying the paranormal.
As the regular means of analyses proved too limited to properly investigate the nature of these extra-natural phenomena, Project Nightmares devised a new means of examination. Using a device of their design, they are able to induce telepathically-gifted patients (like you, the player!) into a dream state and connect their minds to a cursed or malignant object.
This allows the team to investigate their history and put a stop to the evil they embody by exploring procedurally generated nightmares that are never the same, even on multiple playthroughs.
The game’s trailer has been featured by both Sony and IGN, which speaks to its quality and assures great excitement among genre gamers.
The day before launch (4/26), Feardemic will be running a giveaway on their Discord channel, Fearcord, where you can win a copy of the game! There’s only one week until the premiere, so make sure you don’t miss it by joining the server. All you’ll have to do is react to the message about the giveaway (once it’s posted), and that will make you eligible to win.
If you’re excited as we are to play the game, Feardemic has prepared some goodies to help you always keep Project Nightmares in your thoughts. You can grab the desktop and mobile wallpapers right here.
