On the first ‘Not Your Final Girl’ episode of 2022, we talk about the horror highlights of 2021 and what we’re buzzing for this year.
THIS EPISODE: THE BEST HORROR OF 2021 AND 2022’2 MOST ANTICIPATED WITH THE “GAG ME WITH A CHAINSAW” PODCAST
Happy 2022, ghouls! Hopefully, it’s been treating you well so far. Before we get too far into the year, we want to take time to reflect on 2021 horror with our pals from Gag Me With a Chainsaw, Corie and Sarah. We talk about the good, the bad, the ugly of the year. We even have some titles we agree on…and others we don’t (honestly, that always makes it more fun).
Hear us discuss our favorites from last year, as well as some favorites from 2020 that may have gotten overlooked. We’ll also tell you what we’re looking out for in 2022. Maybe some of your faves made the cut! Hit us up on our socials to let us know if we missed some of the best from last year or upcoming films you’re most looking forward to.
ABOUT OUR GUEST:

ABOUT THIS PODCAST
Not Your Final Girl is a podcast hosted by three women (Ariel Dyer and Candace Sluder) just trying to make it to the end of the movie. Join us bi-weekly for deep dives into horror with a fresh take on the genre we love! We’re @NYFGpod on Letterboxd if you want to check out all the movies we’ve talked about on the pod. You can also follow Candace at @crammpuss if you want to peek at what movies might be coming up next.
A proud part of the Morbidly Beautiful Podcast Network. Our drive for intersectionality aligns well with the Morbidly Beautiful ethos. We love that MB is a nonprofit that gives back to the horror community, and are thrilled to be a part of the network.
The original music/theme song for the show was done by Ariel Dyer, arieldyer.bandcamp.com. Our main show logo/artwork was created by Brian Demarest (@evilflynn on Instagram).
