Chaos and Carnage celebrate Pride Month with the campy cult classic treasure with a stellar cast, “Serial Mom” from LGBTQ icon John Waters.

She’s a fabulous, loving, caring podcaster who, er….happens to be a serial killer.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

We’ve got pride, yes we do!!! We’ve got pride, how about you?? That’s right, it is Pride Month again. And here at podcast at night, we like to celebrate our membership in the Alphabet Mafia by selecting movies that feature a fellow LGBTQ+ writer, director, actor or theme.

Don’t worry, kids, we still take turns so you can get an equal dose still from Chaos and Carnage. Come celebrate pride with us!

If you are a new listener to the PaNcast, be aware there are spoilers and expletives ahead! We break down the movie, go through a summary, offer analysis, trivia, arbitrary awards, reviews, ratings, fanfiction, and more!

”Mom’s urge to be perfect and protect her perfect family makes her snap and things go awry.” – Carnage’s Five Second Summary.

The Sutphins are a perfect family. And no one will take that away from them. Not if mom, Beverly, has anything to say about it.

Don’t you dare take her parking spot, stand up her daughter for a date, or…like, accuse her of murder. No one would ever expect such a perfect, prim mom like Beverly would ever say *gasp* the word cunt, let alone kill a math teacher, an old lady, and a couple of teenagers.

A John Waters classic is brought to life with the stars Kathleen Turner, Sam Waterston, Ricki Lake, Dreamlander Mink Stole, and newcomer (at the time) Mathew Lilliard.

Make sure to check out Serial Mom before listening so you aren’t spoiled like one of her kids. Then tune in to find out how much we enjoy this feature of John Waters.

Serial Mom is streaming on STARZ.
