Thirteen Ghosts

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

The only thing worse than being trapped in a house with a ghost is being trapped in a house with this podcast.

This week on They Mostly Podcast at Night, Chaos and Carnage are celebrating their 100th episode with special guest Stephanie Malone, founder and editor-in-chief of MorbidlyBeautiful.com, home of our podcast network. It’s Stephanie’s pick, so grab some spectral spectacles and get lost in a house where the walls are all transparent because we are about to be so haunted it’s not even funny!

If you are a new listener to the PaNcast, be aware there are spoilers and expletives ahead! We break down the movie, go through a summary, offer analysis, trivia, arbitrary awards, reviews, ratings, fanfiction and more!

“Monk inherits a home… and things go awry.” – Carnage’s five second summaries.

Before we get to the movie this week, we talk to our special guest about the web site, how it was founded, her background, and future plans.

Chaos and Carnage could not be more chuffed to bring Thirteen Ghosts to the podcast for their 100th episode! Tony Shaloub plays a single father struggling to make ends meet with his two teenage children and nanny whose run of bad luck seems to suddenly do a 180 when a distant uncle dies and leaves him a beautiful house.

The family go check out the house on a dark and dreary night with the uncle’s lawyer, who unwittingly unleashes the house’s true purpose on them all — a deadly machine which uses human souls to fuel a gateway to hell. The souls needed to power this dark machine are being released one by one, and the family will have to use their wits and love for one another to survive the house’s thirteen ghosts!

Thirteen Ghosts is currently rentable on Prime, iTunes, Google Play and YouTube. Check out the trailer below. And be sure to join us next week for the Spanish spirit board film, Veronica, currently streaming on Netflix!
