However bad your holiday travel plans might be, they’re nothing compared to the horror of the werewolf-infested train ride to hell in “Howl”.

Last podcast. Full moon. All change.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

Brits, werewolves, and trains, oh my! Actually, these are three of some of Chaos’ favorite things. Not surprising this is a Chaos pick of course. Why does the vampire of this podcast always seem to choose werewolf movies?

If you are a new listener to the PaNcast, be aware there are spoilers and expletives ahead! We break down the movie, go through a summary, offer analysis, trivia, arbitrary awards, reviews, ratings, fanfiction, and more!

“People just want to go but train gets stuck in dead deer in the middle of the woods and things go awry.”– Carnage’s Five Second Summary.

As we found out, trains do hit a substantial amount of deer in a year, but this movie does beg the question: which came first, the werewolf or the deer?

Was the deer an innocent bystander or was the train fodder in order to capture some werewolf food?  If not the latter, it was damn fortuitous.

Train stops, driver killed, and one by one our little group of outcasts rage against the gangly yet somehow still beautiful werewolves. Well, beautiful until they rip your innards out. That bit is somewhat more icky.

Can our little intrepid group get off the train? If so, can they escape the woods unharmed? Find out with us!

Check out Howl to keep from getting spoiled like guts spilled everywhere, and then make sure to check out Chaos and Carnage to find out which will win the war, vampires vs. werewolves.

Howl is streaming for free on Shudder.
