ABOMINABLE (2020)

NIGHT OF THE HOWLING BEAST (1975)
This Spanish cult classic is a wild fusion of martial arts and Yeti horror. A martial arts expert battles the legendary beast, resulting in a truly unique and often hilarious cinematic experience. Known for its low-budget effects and eccentric plot, this film has garnered a devoted following among fans of obscure horror. It’s a must-see for those seeking something truly bizarre.
SNOW MONSTER (2019)
This is a very low-budget modern creature feature. With the rapid development of science and technology in the future (year 2045), a Gene Research Company sent Shen Yiqin and others into the mysterious snowy area on the edge of the Arctic, where they come under attack by unknown giant creatures. Also known as SNOW MONSTER VS ICE SHARK, this was made for the Chinese streaming platform Youku. It ends up being weird—really weird—but also weirdly fun, especially for kaiju fans. Abominable (2006) offers a more straightforward horror experience, focusing on a man recovering from an accident who witnesses a Yeti terrorizing his secluded cabin. It’s definitely still a B-movie, but it’s pretty well-executed with solid gore and enjoyable creature effects.
