SHOW NOTES FROM THE GODDAMN GUYS:

In this spine-chilling installment, we sit down with the legendary character actor Ezra Buzzington to unravel the mysteries of his craft. Discover the essence of a character actor and dive into the depths of his prolific career, from iconic roles in Fight Club to unforgettable appearances in Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Ezra Buzzington is a well-respected character actor in film and television, with over 70 film credits to his name, and an influential figure in the underground cinema scene. He is the founder of the Seattle Fringe Festival and co-founder of the New York International Fringe Festival.

Buzzington has been referred to as the “Dennis Hopper of underground cinema.” He’s been in cult films such as Ghost World, horror films like The Hills Have Eyes, and Academy Award-winning and nominated films like The Artist and The Fabelmans.

Besides Hills, genre fans may know him from Nightmare Cinema, Dark Harvest, Mohawk, or his recent role in a recent favorite of this podcast (which we talk about on this episode), Brooklyn 45.

He’s done a ton of iconic television shows, but perhaps nothing more iconic (depending on who you ask) than Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He appeared in the fan-favorite episode, “Family” (Season 5, Episode 6).
