ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

On this episode, the final of Women in Horror Month 2019, my guest is writer / producer / actress / director/ author Liane Langford. We discuss important issues related to women in the genre, including: Is Women in Horror Month still needed? Should it be changed to a different month so that it does not take away from Black History Month? What does the continuing evolution of women in the industry look like? Is gender switching establishing characters in the genre a good idea or not? We also talk about the passion of genre fans and much more.

In addition to our featured discussion, we’ll be featuring more great content in our regular segments:

  • In our first Digital Dismemberment Spotlight, we will be reviewing Scream Factory’s Blu-ray release of What We Become.
  • In our lighthearted review segment, The Traumatic Tales of Dedman and Grumpy, we’ll be discussing Return of the Vampire.
  • In our Metal Massacre Spotlights this evening, we will be featuring a band from our newest sponsor, Imperative PR, called Embludgeonment.
