After last week’s brief detour to talk about the origins of the Friday the 13th superstition, we return to our tour of Eerie USA where we’re exploring the most intriguing myths and legends associated with each state across the United States of America. Next up on our tour is Eerie Indiana.
In the state of Indiana, there lives a familiar monster. Now, this beast has had at least two eye witness accounts, and both describe the same thing – though the encounters were vastly different. I’m of course talking about the Crosley Monster. Who, or what, is that? Great question. This is a fairly new cryptid roaming the woods near the Crosley Pond in Indiana. In fact the first, and potentially last sighting of this thing came in 2012.

Many believe this to be a bigfoot-like creature, but I have my suspicions based on these encounters with it. Regardless of what it is, it really does live up to its name – a monster.
