“Terrifier 3” is everything you want from the franchise: a relentless gore fest with one of the most entertaining and horrifying villains.

Art is back, and the whole Spookshow gang met up to see “Terrifier 3” (2024) in theaters then recorded this one live in Spookshow Studios right afterwards!
FROM THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEF:
Terrifier 3 continues the blood-soaked saga of Art the Clown, following in the footsteps of its predecessors, but with even more twisted kills, visceral practical effects, and a story that delves deeper into the enigmatic and terrifying clown.
As the third installment in a franchise that’s become a modern cult favorite, Terrifier 3 manages to push boundaries while staying true to its roots, delivering what fans of old-school horror crave—unflinching gore, practical effects, and the kind of dark, unapologetic humor that keeps the genre alive.
Terrifier started as a short film created by director Damien Leone before evolving into a full-length feature in 2016. The character of Art the Clown made his first appearance in Leone’s anthology All Hallows’ Eve (2013), but it wasn’t until Terrifier that the character became an indie horror icon.
The 2018 sequel, Terrifier 2, saw a meteoric rise in popularity thanks to word-of-mouth and streaming platforms, pushing Art the Clown further into the spotlight.
By the time Terrifier 3 was announced, it had already gained a substantial cult following, with fans eagerly awaiting more gruesome kills and nightmarish set pieces.

The film debuted to a mix of excitement and trepidation. Fans of the series celebrated its commitment to over-the-top gore and practical effects, while some mainstream critics found its reliance on shock value polarizing.
However, for those who appreciate the visceral thrill of practical effects and grindhouse-level gore, Terrifier 3 was hailed as a triumph.
Its reception reaffirmed the film’s place in the annals of modern indie horror, proving that there’s still a hunger for boundary-pushing, unrelenting horror in an age dominated by CGI.
