We at Morbidly Beautiful could not be more excited to attend the first horror convention of 2016, in our home state of Texas. This weekend, January 22-24, the awesome city of San Antonio will be home to the inaugural Terror Expo. It’s the first year for this convention dedicated to fans of all things horror and sci-fi, and we are proud to be a part of it.

We’ll be there all three days of the event, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, providing media coverage of the incredible guests, panels, and horror vendors. We’ll also be helping our friends out at the Crypt TV booth, spreading the #WeirdIsGood Gospel, handing out tons of cool goodies, and signing people up for the Crypt TV Family.

This show is brought to us by the combined efforts of Alamo City Comic Con, Armando Montelongo, and Billy Madison and Fred Hernandez of The Billy Madison Show. Terror Expo boasts celebrity guests from the horror and sci-fi genres, along with fan favorite film and television villains from shows like The Walking Dead and American Horror Story.

Celebrity guests include Freddy Krueger himself, the great Robert Englund, Sid Haig, Tobin Bell, Elvira, the brilliant Denis O’Hare immediately following his star turn as Liz Taylor on American Horror Story: Hotel, and one my all-time favorites, the incomparable Bill Moseley…among so many others.

As a huge fan of The Walking Dead, I’m definitely looking forward to the bevvy of stars from the current cast, as well as TWD alumnae, including Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Alexandra Breckendrige (Jessie), Emily Kinney (Beth), Scott Wilson (Hershel), Seth Gilliam (Gabriel), Chad Coleman (Tyrese), Major Dodson (Sam), Jose Cantillo (Caesar), and Michael Traynor (Nicholas).

Nathan Baesel from one of my favorite horror slashers of all time, Behind the Mask, will also be in attendance. The incredible Ken Kirzinger will also be making an appearance with Robert Englund, treating fans to an epic Freddy vs Jason reunion.

Panels include Sharknado with Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, The Walking Dead, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Devil’s Rejects, Cobra Kai, Elvira, Saw, and American Horror Story.

Be sure you’re following us on our social media channels on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook for exclusive updates and news throughout the event, and stay tuned for our extensive post-convention wrap-up.
