ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

On this episode, the third of Women in Horror Month 2019, my guests are Filmmakers Crystal Ariana and Lindsay Serrano. We discuss important issues related to women working in the genre, including concerns about positions being received based on gender vs. merit, problems faced by women on productions, how a new female killer icon could be developed, whether Brie Larson’s comments about male media coverage of Captain Marvel was a good thing or not, and so much more.

This is certainly a discussion that should make everyone think and spark conversations that need to be had on all sides of the spectrum!

In addition to our featured discussion, we’ll be featuring more great content in our regular segments:

  • In our first Digital Dismemberment Spotlight, we will be reviewing Don Edmonds Naziploitation classic, Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS.
  • In our second Digital Dismemberment Spotlight, we will be covering Scream Factory’s Blu-ray release of 10 Till Midnight.
  • In our Metal Massacre Spotlights this evening, we will be featuring three bands: Perversor, Stonecast, and Foul Body Autopsy.
