2024 has been a banner year for horror, offering a rich tapestry of films that push boundaries, explore new ideas, and deliver unforgettable scares.

Many stellar standouts dominated the conversations, and rightfully so. We got much-buzzed-about breakout hits like Longlegs, The Substance, and Late Night With the Devil. There were smart and stylish blockbusters like Alien: Romulus and A Quiet Place: Day One. We got bold, polarizing chillers like In A Violent Nature, surprising religious horror heavyweights like The First Omen and Immaculate, and gloriously gory gifts like the ferociously fun Terrifier 3.
