EPISODE SUMMARY
AIPT Movie Contributor Regina Chavez joins us for the start of Evil Twins Month, where we discuss Stephen King’s The Dark Half and 2021’s Baphomet.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE (122):

THIS EPISODE CONTAINS SPOILERS

We talk about summer blockbusters to start the show. Will every major release this summer be a huge success? Will there be any flops? We discuss the state of the film industry, as well as the Toxic Avenger remake.

The first movie we review this week is proof of many things. Some may argue that its shows that movies do not have to be good to be entertaining. Others may talk about the importance of having an actual plot. Either way, Baphomet is one of the more interesting films we have covered this year.

Stephen King is a horror icon. His adapted movies are loved, hated, and polarizing. The Dark Half is a Stephen King movie that people rarely talk about. We try to figure out why you never hear about it. We go over the confusing storyline, the special effects, and why two horror legends coming together does not equal success.
