We are so incredibly excited about the high caliber of podcasts we’ve added recently to the Morbidly Beautiful podcasting network. Joining our impressive lineup is the highly entertaining horror movie podcast DREKCULAS UNDERWORLD, a “storytime review” podcast where your host, Drekcula, takes you on a guided journey of a new horror film every week — from beginning to end.
Virtually watch along with him as he narrates each film with plenty of wit, crude humor, and sarcasm.

Plummeting from my own war-torn hellscape, I sit upon this office chair I deem a throne. I haven’t actually reigned anything in my life, besides the white oval box that sends my nether region demons to a vat of ungodliness, by way of first-class mail. I should warn you, my words may strike cringe upon your ears. My insults to these fabled characters may cause hatred towards my…talky box. But, fear not listener, I am merely a calculated, gargantuan….goofball!
About the Pod
I have a story-time-style podcast. You’ll hear me rant and nitpick the actions these characters take. I like to feel like I’m a part of the universe, so I really put my mind in a role-playing state. I wanted to do something different than most podcasts. I’ve always loved watching films, thinking of weird and whacky things to say out loud, but never writing or recording them. Luckily, I started that journey, and I’m never looking back!
About the Host
I’ve been a horror fan ever since I was a wee lad. I’m a passionate creature who loves to spread laughs. I really love to interact with people, whether it be virtually, or in person. I enjoy reviewing films that most people wouldn’t — not really to stand out, but mainly because there are a lot of hidden gems out there that no one has watched or heard of.

In honor of the spooky season, Drek presents one of his most anticipated Storytimes, discussing the seminal Horror classic Halloween — the original John Carpenter masterpiece. It’s the start of a very special series where he’ll be taking listeners on a journey through the entire Halloween franchise. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride across multiple timelines, insane plot twists, beloved characters, shocking deaths and resurrections, and so much more.
In this episode, Drek remembers why the slasher sub-genre absolutely “killed” in the 70s and 80s, as well as the post-Scream slasher resurgence of the 90s. He discusses why Halloween seems to hold up so well even four decades later and what makes this one of the most well-known genre films of all time. And, of course, there will be plenty of non-sequiturs!
