Day 9’s WiHM Massive Blood Drive PSA, “It’s In You” from talented indie filmmaker Izzy Lee and a cast of genre favorites, is a monstrous good time.

The hits keep on coming as we fire out our onslaught of Women In Horror Month MASSIVE Blood Drive PSAs from our outstanding contributors.  This year we’re releasing a new one every day as we have an incredible 30 filmmaking teams from all around the world taking part!” – Jen and Sylvia Soska

It’s a monstrous, blood sucking good time today with a fresh new PSA from some well known and very active members of the genre. Coming to us from Miss Izzy Lee (Innsmouth) and company is the wonderful short “It’s In You” starring Adam Egypt Mortimer (Director, Some Kind of Hate, Holidays), Brea Grant (Beyond the Gates, Dexter) and Steve Johanson.

This short effectively gets to the point, striking a vein with great effects and some creepy atmosphere.

Izzy Lee is a writer, filmmaker, and  journalist for the beloved Birth. Movies. Death, Rue Morgue, and Diabolique. She’s a published short story author, and has worked as a film festival programmer and an editor at ScreenAnarchy.

Lee had this to say about her participation in this year’s important month-long Blood Drive campaign:

“I’m participating in the annual PSA Blood Drive for Women in Horror Month because life can change at any moment; you never know when you’ll need a little help from a stranger.  If you can, please give blood at your local donation center or spread the word!”

Check out the super fun and well produced entry from one of horror’s most talented ladies below.
