New streaming platforms are being released at a rapid pace. And while that has the benefit of giving us a bounty of options and more horror content at our fingertips than we’ve ever had before, it can also be overwhelming — and expensive. Many of us cut the cable cord to save money. But with so many competing platforms and subscription rates rising at alarming rates, you may be hungry for some great horror films, shows, and original programming that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

That’s why we’re here with a new monthly series designed to tune you into all the amazing genre programming you can watch without spending a dime!

Whether you want to rewatch a classic or explore some of the tremendous new indie horror films and shows, there’s plenty here to keep you satisfied and occupied this May.

All titles are available as of May 1st unless otherwise noted.
